This Wednesday, our 2018 portfolio came to Nashville for First Look, our annual showcase event.
East Nashville WeWork hosted us in their co-working space which the portfolio was welcome to use for pitch practice and remote work. We invited local investors, bankers, lawyers, mentors, doctors, entrepreneurs, industry experts and insurers out to see our batch present.
Each entrepreneur shared their company’s concept, vision, current traction, and future perspective (see attached slideshow). Jumpstart provided each attendee with a ‘dance card’ which suggested companies that would be of interest to them for networking optimization. Post-presentations, we networked over wine and hors d’oeuvres.
Thursday was reserved for additional networking and interviews. Each entrepreneur answered questions like,’ If you had one piece of advice to someone just starting out, what would it be?’

We loved having everyone in town! Even though we are thrilled to have our portfolio across 20 states and even overseas, we enjoy having everyone together as well.
